New Yorker and Hispanics

Is it just me or bis the New Yorker very partial to Hispanics?  It seems like they showcase a lot of Spanish/ Latin authors more so than any other authors like every issue has at least one short story that is very culture specific and kind of exclusive.  I am all about Culture and I do enjoy the short stories but has anyone else noticed this trend or have any idea why the New Yorker features so many Latin American short stories and writers??

So over in BK Crown Heights there's some delicious Pizza poppin off!!  The retaurant is cute very vintage very old school Brooklyn set uhp looks like some great pizza DEF IS GREAT PIZZA!  Reasonable prices and Friendly staffI say itz good! Can't wait to go back.
