Live Journal is a great and valuable place to post and publish personal thoughts isdeas and commentary. For ten years LJ has been a place for great minds to express and exchange great ideas. Although Live Journal has offered great service for ten years, as a member of the Live journal family i recognize that LJ could use some improvement. I would like to be elected so that I could assist in the improvement of Live journal's awesome service.
Some of the Live Journal community's greatest concerns are:
1. the ability to fully customize your home page/ journal
2. user friendly interface
3. More options for easy add ons such as widgets, counters, pictures and many other useful and decorative features that other blogging sites possess
4. The ability to post journal entires from mobile devices and or email
I believe that as a User Representative I would be able to push to provide the Live Journal community to improve in the areas listed above. As a very avid blog author and reader I understand on a very personal and practical level how important certain features are to encourage more frequent and up to date journal entries. As a blog author I have developed the skill necessary to customize a page, however, i know how tedious it is to search for codes and edit HMTL, this is why I believe that adding customizable features to Live Journal is essential. If we could make the writer's experience easier at Live Journal we can make the readers experience more interesting. My unique perspective as an avid blogger and reader has granted me the ability to see what Live Journal needs to ensure great posts that hold and generate reader interest.
