Katie Washington, a biological sciences major from Gary Indiana is Notre Dames's 2010 Graduating Class Valedictorian she will be doing the valedictory address on May 16 in Notre Dame Stadium whooooooo!!!! YOU GO!! I am soo excited!!! Washington has a 4.0 grade point average, and has conducted research on lung cancer at the Cold Spring Harbor labs, she has also done genetic studies on Mosquitos that carry dengue and yellow fever. Katie is also the co author of a research paper with David Severson, a professor of Biological Studies. How cool is she!!!!!??? She is also involved in a laundry list of extra curricular activities she is so awesome !!!! Leiomi Nala's Corner is So proud!!!!
