Is it just me or bis the New Yorker very partial to Hispanics? It seems like they showcase a lot of Spanish/ Latin authors more so than any other authors like every issue has at least one short story that is very culture specific and kind of exclusive. I am all about Culture and I do enjoy the short stories but has anyone else noticed this trend or have any idea why the New Yorker features so many Latin American short stories and writers??
